With a Master's Degree in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy, about 20 years nonprofit experience, ten years of nonprofit leadership, and having raised over $30 million dollars for organizations, I discovered that I had hit my head squarely on the ceiling of my earning potential. I was sitting on 300 hours of vacation time that I couldn't afford to use. I still had dreams and aspirations for how to make an impact on the world. I wanted to inspire other women to achieve their dreams, I wanted to help grow my church, and I wanted to be in the position to spend more time with my family while having a philanthropic impact on the world. Was this really too much to ask?

That's when it happened! I was introduced to a business opportunity, where I could work from home AND empower other women to do the same. The problem was that I have heard this song and dance before. But then it hit me! Just because I didn't do it, doesn't mean it couldn't be done! The women who introduced me to the business were building orphanages, going on mission trips, retiring their husbands. I knew it wasn't a magic, free money, fast cash opportunity. I'm not so naive to believe those actually even exist. These ladies were working their businesses and glowing in results. The perfect formula for success was being presented. This was a product that everyone wants, it works, and it sells itself. The earning opportunities were real and within my control. In just a few months of really working the business, I was generating about 5 weeks of groceries in a month! That's unreal.

So today, I still work full time, because I can. But I can give more and do more. I am able to fully fund a Visioneering class that I offer to women coming out of significant life trauma. My business has connected me to other women who, watching me from a distance have been inspired and I am given opportunities to offer them the same dream that I have gained access to; Freedom to decide how to live your life!

For me, team building and encouraging others is way more valuable than the money. So, that's where I focus my time! The money follows.
